Privacy Policy

Mobio Labs ('the Company') establishes and discloses this privacy policy pursuant to Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea, in order to protect the personal data of data subjects and to handle related concerns promptly.

1. Personal data we collect

We collect the following information that you enter directly:

  • Contact form: (required) company name, contact person, email address, inquiry type, message
  • Newsletter subscription: (required) email address
  • Early Access request: (required) name, email address / (optional) organization, area of interest

The following is generated automatically while you use the service:

  • IP address and the date and time of submission or consent
  • The consent channel and the exact consent wording shown at the time (newsletter only)
  • Cookies, visit history, and browser/device information (via web analytics)

2. Why we process it

  • Acknowledging and responding to your inquiry
  • Sending our newsletter and technical insights (only to those who have opted in)
  • Sending commercial messages introducing Mobio Labs services and solutions, new features, and customer cases (only to those who have opted in)
  • Inviting you to Early Access demos and beta programs
  • Analyzing site usage statistics and improving service quality
  • Preventing spam and automated abuse (IP address)

We do not use personal data for any other purpose. If the purpose changes, we will obtain separate consent in advance. Commercial messages are sent only with prior opt-in consent as required by the Korean Network Act (Article 50), and you may withdraw that consent at any time free of charge.

3. How long we keep it

  • Inquiry records: 3 years from submission (records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution)
  • Newsletter subscription data: until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe)
  • Early Access request data: 3 years from submission, or until you request deletion

Once you unsubscribe, we retain your email address on a suppression list solely to prevent further sending. It is never used for marketing. If you want it removed entirely, contact us using the details below.

Where retention is required by law, we keep the data for the period that law prescribes.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide your personal data to third parties, except where you have consented in advance, or where an investigative authority requests it through lawful procedure under applicable law.

5. Processors and cross-border transfer

We engage the following processors to operate the service:

  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. — cloud infrastructure (hosting, data storage) and email delivery (Amazon SES). Data transferred: the items listed in section 1. Location: Republic of Korea (Asia Pacific Seoul region). Retention: until the processing agreement ends or the periods in section 3 expire.
  • Google LLC — website usage analytics (Google Analytics) and bot protection (reCAPTCHA). Data transferred: automatically collected data such as cookies, visit history, and IP address. Location: United States. Retention: until the purpose is fulfilled.

You may refuse the cross-border transfer of your personal data. To do so, block cookies as described in section 9 or contact our privacy officer. Note that refusing may limit parts of the service.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Request suspension of processing
  • Withdraw your consent to receive messages

Send requests to privacy@mobiolabs.net or call +82-502-1917-6686, and we will act without delay. You can withdraw newsletter consent instantly using the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any email we send.

If you request correction of an error, we will not use or disclose the affected data until the correction is complete.

7. Destruction of personal data

We destroy personal data without delay once the retention period expires or the processing purpose is fulfilled.

  • Electronic files: permanently deleted so that they cannot be recovered or reproduced
  • Printed documents: shredded or incinerated

8. Security measures

  • Access to personal data is limited to the minimum number of staff, with managed access rights.
  • Administrator accounts are protected with two-factor authentication (TOTP).
  • All site traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS.
  • Access to databases holding personal data is restricted and access logs are retained.

9. Cookies and how to refuse them

We use cookies for usage analytics. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
  • Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on

Refusing cookies does not prevent you from using the website.

If this policy is amended, we will announce the change on this website at least 7 days before it takes effect — or at least 30 days in advance where the change materially affects your rights.
